Don got fed up when the Yoder's called the day after the hurricane and told us not to use THEIR chain saw. Here we were running around like crazy helping rescue people and then liberate trees etc from people's houses and their drivewaysl, and that's what they contributed.

Plus I don't think Don wanted me that involved in something, but boy did I want to do it. It would have been total immersion, but in spurts, and we could have delt with that and I would have developed a skill if not found I had actual talent.

Anyway after the hurricane and about two weeks before school was to start he quit IBM and took his first contract gig, moving us to Columbia, SC. where we lived for a year and a half.
