Subject: JMO on Survivor

Good morning.

I have never ever been so highly disenchanted about an episode of Survivor like I and 10 other people were after watching last night's show. The arrogant and blatant hypocrisy, unbalanced sense of entitlement, closet deceptiveness, overt double standard, and sanctimonious crap that both Pascal and Neleh were shamelessly running down on Sean and Vecepia was highly disgusting. I wanted Pascal the rascal to prove me wrong that he wasn't how I had always perceived him from the beginning of the show...just another one of those "good ole boy" judges that use their own personal, imagined, and selfish ideals of integrity to cast doubt upon, categorize, and unfairly label people that are different from he and his own experiences. Pascal would be picture perfect in the Bush administration hiding behind "his vision" of America and as America's director, "his choice and selection" of a kind of role that each person should play. If those persons don't play along according to his assigned roles and manage to get out the box, God help them. Pascal's comments like, "...THEY think you OWE THEM something" referring to Sean and Vee in talking to Neleh, and "not wanting to get to the final three with somebody like Sean" which he's clearly said several times even BEFORE last night's show, and comments about Sean not contributing to the upkeep of the camp when clearly Neleh has done next to nothing as personally testified to by Kathy and others (but still she irrationally chose Sean) clearly showed me that Judge Pascal has "issues" with other people that are different from him and has yet to come to terms with those issues. Neleh, Pascal's mentoree, is just a younger female poisonous version of Pascal who absolutely turns my stomach with her sweet as apple pie facade and magoo nose. And Kathy....if you really wanted to win the game, why on earth did you choose the way that you did? This isn't about my preferring Sean, but the thought processes that went into making your decision just baffles me. Logically, her decision NOT vote Neleh out didn't make any sense at all in furthering her own chances of winning especially after voicing over and over and OVER again how extremely dangerous Neleh's and Pascal's alliance is and how it should be busted up asap. I guess the peer pressure was too strong as it is succommed to by so many in everyday life that desperately try to do the right thing, but can't.

Some might say that this is only a game and that I should not take it so seriously and chill. However, while this is only a game for television entertainment, the very same values (I loosely use this term for some people), strategies, ideals, experiences, attitudes, that these people are using to play the game of Survivor is what goes on each and everyday throughout our country and is causing a great deal of hate, distrust, imbalance, and animosity between all people.

I'm hoping that during the 2 hour finale that just desserts are rewarded and that I can least stomach the winner as truly being the ultimate survivor.
