I'm not going ot comment on the spellcaster exp. issue as I really have no say in the matter. Though I did want to express that I agree whole-heartedly with Lee on the killing bonus issue. As I've stated before, that is what I used to do. The thing is, it takes more time and more notes to do it that way. I hate having to feel guilty when Taryn steps in and kills Gord's giant that he's been fighting for 3 rounds. But in-character, Taryn would not sit idly and watch his companions in battle, he would help. The competitive killing bonus takes away from role-playing in my personal opinion. It makes players squeemish about doing what they would normally do in that type situation. I know that I've done things that would realistically be illogical in order to avoid stealing someone's killing bonus.
