Commenting on Fighters taking all the damage then the clerics healing you up and getting xp for i decided to put in my two cents.. Fighters were meant to take the most damage thus thats why you get nifty weapons, more Hit points (1d10) and killing bonuses. As For me healing you up then getting xp for those spells i don't think so. Anvil has it set up where We only get xp for healing spells if we do it in combat.
Which i think doesn't really work out fairly. Because mainly during combat i'm busy trying to defend myself from being attacked.. (thus why i usally take those played out lightning bolts that do a nice chunk of damage so i might , just might be able to finish "it" off with a staff hit.. with that wonderful thaco of 16 and that Marvoulous Damage of 1d6+1 you can see just what a powerhouse i am) And no i'm not saying i should get a xp for every spell i cast because thats not the what i'm saying.. I just don't see what sense it makes that if i was to use say a Wyvern Watch spell instead of healing spell use it and get xp that i wouldn't get from using the healing spell.. makes no sense to me and reserving 10 spells slots for healing is a pain in the ass How about letting us use that Forget spell gain healing spell that 3rd E uses.. Also i think the new healing Rolls should be used from 3rd edition because they're right on the money.. at 8th leval should a cure light wounds still be 1d8??? I don't think so. I'm sure i'll get the same ole Its your Duty to heal the group shit but its there duty to fight and fighters get the killing bonus.. So i'm suggesting not getting xp for every healling spell but getting xp for doing Our Job IE: me and perith heal the whole group up.. using Healing proficiences and spells how about a fixed xp Bonus for doing so. Sounds fair to me.. How about 200 xp for doing that everytime we do such. This Bonus still wouldn't Unbalance things it would actually even things more out because of the higher leval creatures we've been fighting.(:the killing bonuses are getting higher)
now for the stealing killing bonuses i don't think that clerics or mages should interupt this .. meaning if we kill a creature that they have been fighting they should still get the killing bonuses.. As for fighter stealing killing bonuses from each other thats wacked and needs to be fixed.. I think it should be split evenly if two or more fighters work on the same creature.. IE Taryn and Gord Fight a dragon one would get 1/2 the killing bonus and the other would get the other half.. now say that Gord is fighting a Giant and since we all know Taryn does more damage then Gord Its probably going to take gord longer to kill off this beast so lets say Gord's been fighting the giant for three rounds and taryn comes in and finishes him off in the fourth round It would only be fair that gord gets 3/4 the killing bonus and Taryn gets 1/4

Just some thoughts no Insults intended..
Ciao
