Since Jen has given you permission to keep the shrine up, I'm not nearly as uneasy about it as I was. However, I am going to talk to Jen about it at first opportunity, and decide according to that whether or not I want to keep hosting the shrine. Even if she has given permission, if Jen makes it clear that she doesn't like the shrine, I won't feel right to continue hosting it.
But please, DG, unless you yourself have reservations about the shrine, don't take it down yet. And certainly please don't take it down based on what people will think of you.

Also, I hold to what I said earlier--I insist that, if I ask you to take the shrine down, you let me host another site for you in its place.
