Because they're high on their own sense of self-importance? Because they don't care about quality, only shagging their lust interest? I dunno. *shrugs* I've just accepted those blighters as a sad fact of life. If fangirls are driving you beyond your usual level of insanity, I highly suggest reading Camilla Sandman's 'Official Fanfiction University of Middle Earth'. The premise, basically, is that the Canon characters decide to start a fanfiction university to teach fangirls how to write LotR fanfic properly. *evil smile* It's very good. This is where the Urple Bandits and minis originated.
