Let me set the record straight about all of this--it is annoying me sooo bad. I love pageants--I also think that there were some beautiful girls at this pageant. As many of you know, I have been out fo pageants for many years as Lindy has not competed in almost 3 years. I dont know h/m people, I dont know photographers......I just know my opinions.
I have judged Victoria before, I have also judged, PL, CH, MH, LM, TA, and some of the names that I cant even remember. I think that all of my scoring was very fair. I'm sorry if anyone thinks that I would rig a pageant for anyone. If you knew me, you would not think that. I do run a pageant for Teens and Miss. VT is one of my state queens, although she only won a few weeks ago. I judged her at fantasy Dolls, also and that where I told her she should enter my state pageant. I also told this to a couple of girls that I saw this weekend-- I am not personal friends with anyone in pageants. I am friendly to many people because I have seen them in many pageants before. None of these people are my best friends, none of them even live in the same city as me as far as I know. I'm am sorry if anyone's feelings were hurt this weekend. When I judge, I am being paid for my opinions and I know not everyone will agree with me. I tried to be fair--I think I gave everyone scores depending on what they did at that moment on stage and did not let anyone's names or status at other pageants affect me.
Also, I was at GG to watch all of the competition because it was not far for me to drive and I thought I might even see some girls who might be good for my state pageant. I did not want to cheer anyone on in particular, and actually I went to watch soemone else because they had invited me. I have a little girl who will one day do some pageants and I like to see what is going on.
I hope no one honestly feels that I would cheat to get anyone a title. There were 5 other judges there--and if anyone saw their scoresheets--you would probably see that my husband has a very different opinion from me most of the time.
I love pageants and I hope that everyone will just chill out and have a good time. I know it is an expensive hobby, and I know no one likes to feel like they got jipped!! I know I wouldn't like it. If anyone wants to email me in regards to any scores they got, please feel free!
