~The crowd pops LOUDLY as Kurt Angle appears over the big screen, standing backstage in front of a KOTR set up with Josh Matthews to his side. The crowd BREAKS out into a chant of “ANGLE! ANGLE! ANGLE! ANGLE!”~


Josh: “Kurt Angle, you’re obviously the hometown hero tonight in your hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. Do you think that it will be enough to get past an Icon like Shawn Michaels?”


~The crowd boos at the mention on HBK’s name, firmly behind Angle. Kurt looks down at Matthews in shock, shaking his head before speaking.~ “Do I think that these people will be… enough? Do you know who in the heck you’re talking to? I’m Kurt Freakin’ Angle, baby… and I’M enough alone to make “The Heart Break Kid”… ~said with disgust.~ … “Tap… Out. It’s True, Josh, it’s DAMN True.”













~Petey Williams and the rest of Team Canada are then heard laughing amongst one another and celebrating the big tag title and International title wins for their show earlier. Williams gets a high five from Johnny D'Amore and continues to mimic Adonis' face as the finish happened.~ "And you know what I woulda done if it was ME, in there? Set 'em up, and gave ‘em something to remember my name by, eh? That's right... anybody, at any time... I get ‘em dead t'rights and they might's well cancel Christmas."


~Angle shoots his head to the side as this band of misfits walk right onto his set. He stands with his hands on his hips with his eyes wide, and doesn't move back a step as Petey Williams walks right into him.~

~Petey stops and stands his ground as well, turning to notice just who he bumped into.~ "... oh hell."

~Angle shakes his head in disbelief.~ "Did I just... hear you right? Did you just say anybody... anytime?" ~Petey goes to answer, but Angle interrupts.~ "SHUT UP!" ~The crowd pops.~ "What's your name, kid, and where you from?"

~Petey looks to the side, watching as D'Amore and Eric Young have mysterioiusly disappeared. He turns back to Angle with a deep breath.~ "Captain Petey Williams....from Windsor...Ontario...Canada."

~Angle perks a brow.~ "Captain...? What are you, a pirate? And where the heck is Windsor?" ~He cuts him off again as he goes to answer.~ "SHUT UP! You're in a REAL town, right now, MY hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, baby... and I may not be in the ring, but for tonight, I'll open up the 'Kurt Angle Invitational' right here, right now, if you want to show that you can actually take on ANYONE... anytime!"

~Petey steels his jaw, and starts to remove his Team Canada jacket as the fans start to erupt in the arena.~ "Guess I got a date to the dance after all then, eh?" ~The second he has his jacket down, Petey is yanked out of the camera by D'Amore and Young!~

~Angle watches as he gets yanked away, shaking his head.~ "Maybe next time... but for now? Shawn Michaels... is... MINE!" ~He revs himself up and storms off the set, heading to the ring!~

~The feed then switches and we go backstage where Matt Hardy and Edge are beating the HELL out of one another! Backstage officials and security desperately try to keep them apart as Athene blows a gasket, SCREAMING at them to take Matt Hardy out of the building! As Hardy gets dragged out kicking and screaming, Athene warns Edge that if his team doesn’t defeat the Raw team later on tonight, that he will have hell… to… pay!~
