~We go backstage where we catch up with the three-time Tag Team Champions Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin, as they make their way around a corner, with Benjamin hyping Haas up for his up-coming one on one match with Sylvan Grenier. As soon as they round a corner, the crowd goes BALLISTIC as the camera catches a glimpse of Toronto’s own Nat Taylor!











~Nat looks over at Haas and Benjamin as they pass her, but says nothing.~

~The Tag Champs stop in their tracks, and their smiles quickly fade. Charlie can't even bring himself to make eye contact with her as he lowers his head to the ground. Shelton takes the initiative, nodding to her.~ Hey there Nat... How you doin'?

~She nods.~ Fine. ~She crosses her arms over her chest, leaning against the wall and saying nothing else.~

Shelton: Listen... we know we did you wrong girl, and we don't have an excuse for it. But if you can bring yourself to understand where we were coming from, maybe... just maybe... we might be able to get over this, and then even one day be friends again... no?

Nat: Sure, easy for you to suggest that we get over this when YOU'RE not the one who never got so much as an apology.

~Haas continues to look away as Shelton stands with his hands on his hips, nodding his head.~ You're right, you're completely right. And you know what Eric was like, and for two young newcomers like us... even though this is no excuse... we just did what we thought we HAD to do, and we crossed the line. But we've come a long way, and once we realized that we had to do things the way that Kurt tried to teach us in the beginning... what YOU and Kurt taught us right off the bat, we ended back up with these. ~Taps the championship belt around his waist.~ So as far as what we did to you... we're sorry, it never should have happened, and it'll never happen again... I promise.

~She nods her head slowly.~ Thank you.

~Charlie continues to look down and away, but Shelton elbows him in the ribs.~

Shelton: Charles?

~Charlie finally looks up, looking extremely guilty as he does so.~ What he said...

~Shelton narrows his eyes at him.~ I'm sick of hearing you bitch about this, so tell her now, or I will!

Charlie: Ok... ok... ~He looks over to her.~ Listen... Nat... I know we hurt you, physically and mentally... but if it's any consolation to you... I haven't been able to live with myself ever since. It wasn't Shelton that put his hands on you... it was me. And of all of the people in the world for me to do that you, you were the single LAST person that I would have ever wanted to hurt. I don't expect you to ever forgive me... but please, just believe me that when I say I'm living with this every day... I really am. I'm just glad to see you back and happy... so I guess that's all that matters...

~Nat blinks in surprise.~ Wow, that was heartfelt...

~Charlie looks from Nat to Shelton, and then back to Nat.~ Ok... so I have a match... ~Takes a deep breath.~ Hope to see you around...

~She nods and even cracks a little smile.~ Good luck, Charlie.
