~The crowd pops as the big screen lights up and we catch up with Shawn MIchaels backstage in a locker room. The crowd cheers exceptionally louder than usual in respect for his performance against heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho last Monday Night Raw.~



“You don't know when to quit do you?"









~Jeff Jarrett is shown sitting across from him in the locker room.~ "Last week, you took it to Chris Jericho, and yeah, you put him down for that belt. Regardless of what happened, you showed us you had caught lightning in a bottle that night.”

~Jarrett stands up, finally going close to HBK.~ "But tonight? It’s a real clear night in Vegas, no storms anywhere around, and you left that lightning on Raw last week. This is all hands on the table, Shawn. Me and you don't like each other, but out there? ~Nods to the ring.~ It’s gonna be all hate. And I don't hate you enough to wish that cage on you. I hate Triple H for wipin' out almost a year of my life...I hate David Flair for tryin' to make a name for himself off of mine. I hate Chris Jericho for wearing my gold and taking my chance for revenge against Triple H and the Authority. Lance Storm? He's somebody who turned his back on a friend. But you? You got the best chance out of us to walk away....and nobody'll grudge it to you."

~Shawn's jaw becomes firm as he stares deep inot Jarrett's eyes.~ Walking away for me is NOT something that I can do, because I have something that the rest of you will never, ever have... and that's the WILL... to be the best. I've got news for ya... I don't run, and I don't hide. The Heart Break Kid lies down for nooooobody! I proved that last week when I had Jericho a split second away from defeat... and I'll prove it tonight in the match that I originated. Don't you forget that when the Hell in the Cell first came to be, there was nobody crazy enough to do this gig... but the Heart Break Kid. Come tonight, Jeff... I'm gonna show you the difference between a "Chosen One"... You... and the Man... Me. And there ain't NOTHIN' that a God fearing man can do to stop me.

Jarrett: That's the damn problem. You know just as well as anybody what that cage can do! Its an evil place, built of blood and broken dreams...and you DON'T belong in there...Shawn, think of your wife, think of your boys...you think they want to spend the night in a hospital because their daddy had some fool dream of wearin' a belt again?

Shawn: My childhood dream became a reality because of my will... and tonight, won't be any different. I'm not a broken down half a man. The way I see it, I'm more ready to go than you. ~He looks Jeff up and down.~ I can count the matches you've had in my hand since WrestleMania, and if you do the math... you've ended up on the losing end of them each... and every... time. Now I'm not saying that my record has been much better, but what I am saying, is that I... am better... than you, cowboy.

Jarrett: Then you can congratulate yourself, Shawn....you just gave me enough reason to hate you in there too. Just remember these words when you're looking up at my next Heavyweight title.
