Raw comes back on the live feed with Styles already in the ring, jawing down at Chris Sabin. The Future stands on the ramp still, scouting AJ and the other man in the ring, Team Canada's Petey Williams.


AJ has his back to Petey, who stands there with his hands on his hips, surprised at AJ's indifference towards him. Styles finally turns around to start the match and is met with a high dropkick from Williams. AJ drops down and moves back to his feet, being taken over by a hiptoss and back down to the canvas! Petey yanks him back up by the wrist and goes into an arm wringer, stepping back and yanking the shoulder hard. AJ yells out loud and moves his hands up to try and spin under Petey's turn. Williams goes with the turn and ends up back where he started. Petey faces Styles and gives a loud "HA!" right before AJ pokes him in the eye to break it. Williams gets infuriated and goes for a wild punch, but AJ ducks it and when Petey turns around, gives him a HARD standing crescent kick to the jaw!

Styles shakes out his arm and drops down onto Petey, who shoves his arm out at 2. AJ yanks him to his feet and goes for an Irish whip. Williams keeps hold of the arm and reverses the whip. AJ comes off the ropes and Petey is there to meet him with a hiptoss attempt. AJ kicks him in the ribs and puts his leg across the back of his neck, feinting a flip over. But before he does, he leaps upwards with his back leg, and crunches his knee into Williams' chin! Petey goes to grab his mouth, and Styles does a 180 degree spin and a clothesline that floors the challenger! AJ extends his arms out for the fans adoration. However, about half cheer the champion, and the other half start a surprising chant.

"HAIL SABIN, HAIL SABIN, HAIL SABIN!!!"

Styles lowers his arms and shoots Chris a glare up on the ramp. Sabin looks around and starts to orchestrate the cheers, waving them louder and louder. Styles lifts Petey up onto his ass, and points to the ramp, making sure Sabin gets an eyeful of this. Styles backs up and then gives a HARD Spinal Tap kick between Petey's shoulders! Williams rolls onto his side and slowly moves to his feet, arching some from the pains of the kick. AJ yanks him back by the hair and goes for a high vertical suplex that Petey starts moving while in. AJ can't hold tight to him, so Williams drops down some and goes to latch onto his legs. AJ sees what's happening and grabs Williams' feet, and starts to backpedal, crashing him back first into the turnbuckles!
AJ does it once, then twice, and then a third time, finally yanking Petey back up and onto his shoulders. AJ then moves some and drives him right into the mat with a powerbomb that smacks Williams down!

Styles keeps his hands locked, however, and pulls Petey up halfway, stepping through his arms and turning him to face Sabin on the ramp. AJ holds onto his legs and then falls forward, crashing Williams into the mat face first! The Fans all go to their feet for the Styles Clash, as AJ rolls him over onto his shoulders and gets the academic 1...2...and 3 count!

Styles gets the title handed back to him as he flips it back over his shoulder, wiping the back of his hand and spitting to the side. His eyes stay focused on Sabin on the ramp. Chris nods in acknowledgement and goes back to the locker room.
