~Lauren stands backstage in front of a monitor, having just finished watching the Women's match with Victoria�s return, her arms crossed over her chest, and not looking too pleased.~

*Sean O'Haire comes up behind her and strokes his beard in thought* "You know, it�s always a interesting thing....your first night with a title. The respect of your coworkers, the accolades given by your friends. It�s a special night."

~Lauren grits her teeth, closing her eyes in exasperation. She takes a deep breath and turns around, looking at O'Haire.~ "What do you want?"

O�Haire: "Just an observer. Relax. My point, however, is that nobody seems to remember the former champion. Chris Benoit for example went to Smackdown with his tail between his legs. We ran Jeff Jarrett out of the business after his loss. It�s that new challenger�s job....to stay active, and stay recognized, correct?"

~Lauren perks a brow in irritation, her arms still crossed over chest, saying nothing.~

O�Haire: "Lauren....I have no doubt that you'll stay active in your division. Whether it�s a championship threat, or a rough and ready contender to Athene's legacy...However, just from us to you? You've set a high standard, and you won't be forgotten. But....I'm not telling you anything you don't already know....am I?"

~She now blinks in surprise, and drops her hands now to her waist.~ "Hmm..."

O�Haire: "Besides...the offer still stands. If you need assistance in anything...you should be aware of your best resources. There's always someone watching your back, you know." *O�Haire glances over her shoulder with a smile.*

Directly behind her at this moment, close enough for her to feel another presence is Batista, who takes a deep scent of her hair and chuckles a bit.

~Laurens jumps when she hears the chuckle and steps forward, away from Batista, turning back to stare right at him.~ "JUST.. forget it. I want nothing to do with the so-called Authority, so just leave me alone, alright?"

O'Haire smiles and glances at his partner. Batista keeps his gaze on Lauren as she speaks. Sean adjusts the championship across his shoulder. "Fair enough....The Authority won't harm a hair on your....head."

~Lauren's eyes go wide and she speaks now to Batista through a clenched jaw.~ "So.. get.. LOST.."

Batista looks at her and backs up, turning around and walking away. O'Haire shrugs and winks at her. "Relax...I think he likes you." He laughs and walks after him.

~Lauren is left standing, looking creeped right out as she shudders briefly.~ "JUST what I needed... a freaking stalker."
