Let me elaborate my reasons for calling Paul a prick, good reason for this.
I was very good friends with Eric Carr. Kiss had a show in NYC and I met up with Eric at his parents in Newburgh the day of the show and drove in with him.
I'd never spoken much to Paul and didnt during this time either.
The day after the show Eric and I did a tour of NYC.
Paul was going somewhere and took the hotel elevator down with us. There was a kid in the elevator with us who just stood there with his mouth open totally star struck. He didn't say anything just stared like he was in shock. Eric was smirking over this waiting for the kid to say something, he didn't...Paul was acting annoyed staring at the door clenching his jaw like he was ready to be attacked. I immediately noticed this and thought "oh God, you were rock star on stage last night, today youre just Paul, ok, get a grip".
The kid was a shy pimply faced twenty year old, not what I'd alert to as a threat.
When we got downstairs the kid finally got up his nerve and said "excuse me" to Eric and Paul, he immediately had Eric's full attention, Eric saying "how ya doing" or something like that. The kid asked if he could get an autograph for his brother who was in Sloan Kettering undergoing cancer treatment. Eric graciously said sure, but Paul (and to this day I will hold this against him) said, "Im not doing autographs today".
WOW.
And Paul just strolled out like he was a God.
I remember looking at Eric like 'what the hell' I was blown away! Eric looked at me with such a pitiful look, like 'Im sorry I cant call him an asshole to his face'.
And thats why I say Paul Stanley is one of the nastiest people I have ever had the unfortunate experience to witness being nasty.
I personally have never had a conversation past "hey, how ya doing" with the guy. But that incident that I witnessed gives me every reason to call him out on being a nasty.
That was below it all.

>I think she's onto something with Paul Stanley. I've
>only spoke to him once. He was extremely charming.
>Then, he can change the next day to very aloof and
>snobbish. I made a comment to one other member of
>Kiss after talking with Paul one evening - telling him
>how charming Paul is. He replied, "He's not normally
>like that. He was in the mood to talk that night."
>So, there are comments coming from other band members.
> He is strange and moody somehow. I wouldn't put him
>in the "nastiest" category though butI do avoid Paul
>for the most part.
