I only mention anything because I thought the accusations were uncalled for and cruel. If it was about whether or not he's talented or... something silly, then I wouldn't give a damn. I'm not on a horse thank you very much; although, I do love them and I wouldn't mind having a dappled grey. ;-)
I am opinionated but the only reason why I say anything is because what was being said was cruel, and it was guesswork that was being stated as fact. Nothing more nothing less. If it was about anyone else, believe me, I'd make the same statements. I just take those types of accusations seriously; they're not just a passing matter to me. I know some people will see some guy and a girl with a 10 year age difference and passingly call them a pedophile; but to me, it's more serious than that. I was linked directly to this page which is how I came across it.
I'll just say this too cause you mentioned it: Lori was 14/15 not 13 when he was with her; she was 13 when she was with David and Angie Bowie. Mick was also trying to get into her pants when she was 14 (since you mentioned him); I don't think he ever got to, but he would use his limo to drop her off at school in the mornings. Not that that makes much of a difference, but if you're gonna say it, might as well get some things straight.
Also, you do not "know" if he still goes after "very very young women" because you've guessed Jimena's age based off of a picture. That was your opinion and assumption, but that does not mean he does. I think it's obvious he likes young women — he always has — but so do a lot of older rock stars; that's nothing new. Eric Clapton's current "model" wife is 31 years younger than him; which is pretty much the same age difference as Jimmy and Jimena. She's not exactly "old" looking either. It's like the oldest story in the book; as I'm sure you know.
My point is, ya it's weird, it's not "normal" in the sense of every day life; and it's definitely a privilege that these older rock stars use because they can; but I don't think his behavior is anything out of the norm for that group of rich men who like them young. I don't like the pinpointing and matter-of-fact assumptions, and I wouldn't like it if it were about anybody else either; believe me. This happens to be about Page, so I'm gonna talk about him. I'm not all "loyal" or defending of Page. I'm speaking out against an issue I see that's a little more serious to me; I don't care who it's about.
