I'm not saying don't share your opinion; I'm simply sharing my disagreement of it. I also don't have an "agenda," I only wanted to post my opinion along with everyone else. You keep reminding me that this is a gossip forum for all opinions but yet you act like mine's not welcome... Well, I guess it's obviously not cause it is in disagreement to others and some people don't like that; but if I disagree I don't have a problem sharing it. I already stated before that I was only driven to respond in here cause there was so much misinformation and lack of real information that I was shocked.
I'm also not "ignoring" any "peculiar difference" because I don't think there is a peculiar difference; unless I'm misunderstanding something you already explained. I've seen a lot of women date rock stars and I really don't think they look more sophisticated than Jimena; not unless if by "sophisticated" you mean they dress skimpier, wear more makeup, look like models etc. In fact I actually think Jimena is far more sophisticated than half of the "rock star girlfriends." She's done a lot in her life on her own and from what I've heard she's an incredibly intelligent, charismatic, independent young woman. I can't really say I've heard the same about most other barely-legal blonde bombshells I've seen other rock stars date. I'm not denying Jimena looks young and she could easily be Jimmy's daughter (and in that sense it is very odd to think about) but overall I just never thought she looked like a young teen and I didn't think their relationship was anything unusual for an aging rock star.
I don't have a "skewed" sense of anything; if you think that then you've misunderstood something I said. I'm not comparing these things to the average Joe down the street; I just know that there is a difference when you're in that type of a world compared to your average life. I'm not in "support" of anything he's done in the past (unless of course we're talking about music) and I think I made it pretty clear in my previous posts that I wasn't "defending" him; I was evening out what was being said because you were using things to prove a point, but I disagreed because I didn't think what you used as proof, proved anything. Nothing more, nothing less. Nothing indirect. I'm trying to be as clear with my posts as possible so if you get something else from them then you are misunderstanding my post.
I don't "know it all" either. I've read a lot cause I've been a fan for a long time and I happen to have come across people in contact with him, and all the members of LZ for that matter. Friends, fans, co-workers, groupies etc. I already said in my previous post (I guess you missed that though) that I have never met Jimmy myself, but I know many people who have and I have a friend who is quite chummy with him. I don't ask her about him often, not unless it's about what he's doing professionally, but I did ask her about him and Jimena when I saw this post because like I said before the accusations said here shocked me, because I never thought of them myself.
I figured we'd agree to disagree a long time ago; I just kept seeing things that I wanted to comment on. I also realize now that it was "dead and buried" but as I said, I was linked directly to it and the thought didn't really cross my mind.
I forgot to comment on this so I'm doing it now: I agree that, unfortunately, opinions, cruel or not, are the price of fame and Jimmy has brought it all on himself no doubt about it. I said previously that when it comes to pedophilia... I guess it's just a touchy subject to me, regardless of who it's about. I take it seriously, and I just thought the accusations here were unwarranted. I may have taken some of the things said here too seriously and I fully admit that possibility; but since I don't know you and I can't "read" how you're saying things, I can only guess and assume one way. I took it as being very cruel and that bothered me enough to try and set some records straight. Nothing more, nothing less.
I also said before that I respect everyone's opinion; I just greatly disagree for reasons I've already stated.
