Hey RGC, I agree with you, this is kinda creepy -- I have seen mothers bring pretty daughters to shows mainly to get the guy's attention for themselves vicariously which always seemed really iffy to me, as the guy is usually old enough to be the girls' grandpa.

This is supposed to be two people the same age however so I'm really wondering why the mom is there -- 26 is not only old enough to date outside the parental purview, it's a little old for modeling quite honestly. They scout those girls starting at about age 14, because a model's career is tragically short. (The current supermodel, Natalia Vodianova, is only just 23, and she's been modelling for years. Lily Cole, who made a movie with Marilyn Manson, just turned 18 and was scouted at 14. Gemma Ward, who made a movie with Liv Tyler, is 18.) Not everybody tall and thin and good looking has what it takes to be a top model -- that's a whole package, and she'd have to be a top model or major celebrity to be still modeling at her age. Which means she's already met zilions of freaky-ass people and no longer needs mom to weed them out. I don't think models have problems meeting rock stars, or finding out who they are dating, and I think a single rock star with nobody waiting in the wings is a rare bird.

The whole thing does sound pretty fishy!
