It doesn't necessarily do anything of the kind except prove that they want to further legitimize something. It seems like since talk like this has popped up they are taking great pains to assure that Jimena is in her 30s and was working in charity before she met him.
Then she would have been more busy with junior high or highschool. And if you look at the old charity site it shows that not much money has been raised. This isn't to rip on the worthiness or question her character, but if Jimmy is involved he could have gotten more donors.
All this would go to show it's rather a front. Her age and marital status can't be proven, so it's up to their interpretation. In a recent UK TV bio of Led Zep it was said that Jimmy quit heroin, cold turkey, in four days before a tribute concert - six months ago.
That doesn't sound like someone who's content or a devoted family man. Maybe things have changed a bit since he's gotten older, but for the most part those with a privileged and self-indulgent lifestyle don't change because they don't have to - and there are people to cater to them.
It's also strange how these stories are coming out now and boards like this are being given the supposed information. So if there's any new spin it's because somebody's doing it, like a fan, employee or someone who was befriended. Though it doesn't seem like he has to worry about much.
