Well, I think men everywhere discuss who they've slept with--with varying degrees of veracity--and if they have it on film, so much the better. With rock bands it is just exagerrated, and public, and groupies do what no other women in history before have done...they TALK about it afterwards, just like the men do. That's why there are so many books by Pamela des Barres and so many women in her writing classes. These are famous guys, who else can they tell but another groupie or the media (who are always asking them anyway?) And of course the guys don't like it because they are the ones trying to make themselves seem like good guys to the public and of course they will say things about every single person they slept with.

>>I personally dont like the attention people give

>>I think it's sick, theyre calling you names, talking
>>about your life behind your back, and pretending to be
>>your friends.. I've always tried to keep my friends
>>close, and keep away from the ones who shouldnt be
>>trusted!
>>I had a lot of problems with stalkers when i hooked up
>>with my first rock star.. i was amateur enough to let
>>people see it... and my life turned to a living hell..
>>I couldnt even go to a mall without being recognized
>>and have ppl treat me like a cage animal!
>>I think most the girls who hang out with bands have
>>been caught on video, but i usually request that they
>>dont make it public.. I like to play innocent, sweet
>>and NOT groupie.. being seen on band's DVDs wouldnt
>>look so good..
