This isn't a story or question about a particular rocker, just more of a question out of my curiosity and occasional confusion...

I've been a groupie type for over a decade now, have gotten the chance to hang with many bands, and out of all the stuff those guys gossip about, I'm most interested in this... I have heard some very opposing views on the differences in rockers' attitudes toward girls (even very attractive ones) who (1) approach a band member enthusiastically, as a BIG FAN of them and their music, and (2) those who approach them as indifferent, maybe even acting like they don't really know who they are.

It seems that some (even those who really 'get around') are just not into (and sometimes even repulsed by) girls who seem really into the music - the "big fan" types who'll go right up compliment the guy on his amazing [insert musical talent here] and ask for an autograph or whatever - regardless of how hot she actually is. Most, from what I've witnessed, would much rather go for the nonchalant "type #2". It's an interesting thing to witness, though I've seen and heard things that seriously conflict, and I'd like to hear others thoughts or stories about it.
