I realize this thread is rather old, so this might be old news: Jimena is not from Brazil, nor is she from a poor family.

She's not even Brazilian! Jimena’s parents are from Argentina, she grew up in San Francisco! This information puts a different spin on things doesn’t it?

If Jimmy’s intentions were to take care of a poor impoverished young woman from Brazil, well Jimena wasn’t any of those things, except young. Jimena was involved in Brazilian charities BEFORE she met Page.

Unless this information was completely ‘spun’ by Page’s publicist, I tend to believe Jimena's bio, which was posted at her website.

Jimena did have a child before marrying Page.

There is a photo of Jimmy with three small kids, two girls and a boy, at photographer Ross Halfin's website. The eldest of the three, a girl, looks nothing like him, while the two youngest kids, do. They have his eyes. (In case any of you are wondering, Jimmy IS part Asian.)

It’s assumed the eldest girl in the photo is Jimena’s daughter. If Jimena indeed grew up in the US, it now puts a totally different spin on her relationship with Jimmy and her real age.
