Sorry dear...if his girly was on the side of the stage, he was simply acknowledging your enthusiasm. No doubt he picked the cutest girl in the audience to look at...that's what they do! Now had his girl NOT been around, same deal, but you would have either been looked for after the show or brought backstage during. That is how you can tell.

My metal guitarist ex-boyfriend is notorious for this. Winking, pointing, eye contact and smiling...not to mention the good ol' Fonzie thumbs up deal. They all do it. He had many women thinking he was hot for them, makes the sexual energy rise for the show! But that is him...every night, every show and every tour I spent with him...same motions...male or female. Fan attention is mandatory at all gigs! That is how they connect with the audience.

But I do have to say...the people musicians tend to pick in the audience to focus on usually have the greatest energy and love the music! That is what keeps them going on stage!
