Is Susie's calm style preferable to Davina's manic gurning though? Depending on the programme to be presented, definitely. In fact, Davina does my head in at the best of times no matter what she's on, even commercials for hair colourants!

One thing I thought brilliant was at the beginning of Susie's interview when Davina handed her a cuppa in a china cup and saucer. Susie looked askance at it, took an obligatory sip then said "I had one just before I left" and coolly handed it back to Davina - who looked totally flummoxed about how to deal with it and where to put the cup; that was supposed to be Susie's reaction (according to the same hilarious producers that have thought up most of the "brilliant" tasks and oversee the antics of Dermot O'Bleary and Russell Bland).

I agree that Susie was boring and a waste of time in the house - I also agree that she's not the only one using the show for self promotion (cf. Imogen just after Michael and Spiral were evicted actually making the point she'd had weeks of "exposure" - and Susie laughing because she knew exactly what Imogen was after, because it was the same as she wanted.)
