I don't think it matters when you start. It would be a little harder to do the nature activities perhaps, but there's always a way. You could study animals preparing for the winter, birds flying south, that kind of thing. Or maybe you could begin with unit two and then do the first unit at the end of the year when the weather is nice for you. It would throw some of the subjects off, but I think it could be done.

Anyone else have suggestions? It's sometimes hard for me to grasp these seasonal problems since we don't have to deal with them that much here in Florida.
