Subject: [ torture briar! -charry squeals and runs- Author: Briar [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 04:46:06 07/07/03 Mon [ Briar's back rested against an old oak, it's base blanketed in pale green lichen. his chest rose and fell with heavy, rapid breathing, and after a minute, a calloused hand slipped into his vest pocket, dirty fingers searching. they found the item, a gold band with runes engraved into it. after a stroke or two between his thumb and forefinger, then ring attempted to slip on, and the theif's fist clenched around it, withdrawing it from his clothes. he wanted to curse but nothing came out, and suddenly hurled into a rose brush a couple yars away. there was a moment in which he lay frozen, before Briar flew forward, scrambling in the the thorny scrub for his treasure till he found it. the boy threw himself against the tree again, eyes closed, inhaling quicker then before, and slammed his forearm into the ground in frusteration.
