what are the chances
of seeing someone you wanted to see
in the heart of a foreign city
not knowing for sure
the person's existance
on this distant soil
i seldom sit
on the upper deck in london
i went up
to secure the seat
where i normally sit back home
it was an instance
where the signs of time have passed
it was good to sit next to him
almost
there was an empty space between us
though i cant be sure it was truly him
it is good enough to know that he is well
