Haha. Chanced upon a poem i wrote when i was younger, my secondary school days. Wrote it for my best friend, an artist, and years after i've forgotten about it, he drew it out and gave it back to me. And today i laugh at the childish foolishness of my words. And so the story goes...
Sometimes in your life
When things go wrong
Your worries are endless
And the roads are long
You start to wonder
If life's a game
You played to win
Only to lose the same
Just as you begin
To lose yourself
And your world falls apart
With everything esle
Someone comes along the way
When things get rough
Picks you up and says
Hang tough
He makes you laugh
And tells you it's ok to cry
If you fail this time
You could always try
Tomorrow creeps in
Pace by pace
Someday you'll eventually
Find your place
And as you walk in
The light of him
You know everything would be ok
As it seems
At the end
You'll finally find
Your friend was your savior
All the time
Believe me
After all I've been through
For I've been blessed
With a friend like you.
It's freaking long...........i'm not extremely proud of it.............but i was only sixteen...........
