Omari Confessional: Yeah. This is the stuff we go through. We set schedules, we get calls, we just about do everything. We’re what they call “teen heart throbs” and now we’re in the spotlight to be on television shows and make appearances. We just did BET’s How I’m Living not too long ago. I’m Omari I. G. aka Omarion from B2K. That was what we use to go through as B2K and IMx. We worked hard, but it wasn’t everything we thought it would be. Welcome to, Behind the Music, B2K and IMx spotlight aftermath.
Jarell Confessional: B2K, it was a group I use to be in. Um, it was a lot of fun. Me, O, Dru and Mario were the best of friends until...
Druex Confessional: ...things started going down hill. We weren’t agreeing anymore. My partner in crime became my...my enemy almost. That’s Jarell. He was stuck up because he thought all the girls wanted him. What would they want him for? He uses females. Actually, all the girls wanted me.
Jarell Confessional: I guess Druex…I mean his name was Fizz. What the hell kind of name is THAT for a dude? Because his rhymes bubble? To tell him the truth, his rhymes were whack. The nigga couldn’t even dance. I guess that’s his half white side. He wasn’t even that cute. I was the cute and funny one.
Omari Confessional: I mean, it’s hard to look back and see what we went through and realize that the guys broke up the way they did. I mean, it’s really sickening. (odd silence) Not really, they all sucked besides me. I was the sexy one...still is. (smiles)
De’Mario Confessional: I was like the one without a solid brother. I mean Ricky is my brother, but I always was the one to point out IMx as our big brothers and none of them were my brothers really. I was just around so to speak. I had Ricky. He’s brother enough. They others have dead beat dad’s and no older sibling they can look up to. (shrugs shoulders) They liked to tease me a lot and bother me. I wasn’t feelin’ that. They wasn’t feelin’ me in the “B2K is Hot” skit, so I was like fuck it. I didn’t even write that much on the song. Omari tried to take over. He always does. (shaking his head) We were really a messed up group. We were really good at showing our butts in public. (puts leg up on the seat)
