Jerome Jones walked into his apartment complex over in Queens. He was a handsome looking 18 year old boy with hazel colored eyes, brown hair that was usually styled in braids, and an amazing body that made mostly all the girls fall for him. As he stepped in his kitchen the phone rang.

"Hello."

"Hey Romeo it's Rita"

Rita and Romeo met at Druex's birthday party in lower Manhattan and ever since then they kept in touch. And don't get any ideas. They are just friends nothin' more becuz Rita loves Mario more than anybody.

"Wot up girl."

Nothin much. Yo remember when I told ya I would try to find ya a girl? Well I found one. Rome this is Pamala. Pamala this is Jerome."

"Hey," Pamala said. She still wasn't too keen on the idea of calling Romeo after she just broke up with Omari. She didn't want to lead him on and let him think that she wanted a relationship becuz she just wasn't ready.But she was a woman of needs. And she needed to let Omari know that he wasn't the only fine looking boy in New York and that her life didn't revolve around him.

"Wot's up Pam?"

"Well besides my boyfriend is a jackass and dumped me from some bald headed wench nothin' much."

Romeo sighed. So this girl was just usin' him to let her ex know she was movin' on. But he ain't care. It wasn't like he had something better to do. "That's fucked up. Do y'all think that y'all can meet me at the mall down by cuz house?"

"Yeah. We'll be there in 15."

"Okay. One."

They hung up and Romeo went to change his clothes.

Shante, Natalia, Morgan, and Kamesha walked into The Set talking up a storm. After Druex had dropped her off, Natalia called Shante and told her what happened. Shante was happy for her friend but worried at the same time. She knew how fast Natalia was fallin for Druex. But Druex didn't care 'bout that. He was a playa. He just use ya then drop ya. Shante couldn't take it any more. She had to warn her friend. "You Talia let me talk to you for a minute."

Natalia walked over to Shante with a Encye fit in her hands. "What's up?"

"I just wanted to tell you to take things slow with Fizz. He's a maja playa and I don't want you to get hurt."

"Gurl don't worry bout me. I can take care of myself. Trust me. Now what do you think?" Natalia held the fit up to her body and Shante nodded.

"That's hott."

"Yeah," Kamesha agreed, "get that becuz trust me when Fizz see you in that he gon get on major hard."

Natalia paid for the fit and the foursome walked out the store. Kamesha stopped walking when she saw this fine ass nigga. Boy had Coogi and Tims on so he had money. "Damn he is a dime."

Morgan directed her attention to where Kamesha was looking and laughed. "You like him?" Kamesha nodded. "Well I'll introduce ya to him. Yo Romeo!"

Jerome looked up and walked over to Morgan and Kamesha. "What up Morgan?"

"Nothing boy. Just wanted you ta meet one of my friends. Kamesha this is Jerome. Jerome, Kamesha. Jerome is Fizz's cousin."

Jerome looked Kamesha up and down before smiling. "Wot up shawty?"

"Nothin much. So have ya met Pamala yet?"

Jerome nodded and Kamesha looked over his shoulder to see Omari standin outside the mall doors. "There go that no good muthafucka now."

Jerome and Morgan turned around and Morgan sucked her teeth. "We can't let Pamala see him. It'll just cause her to cry more."

"Who can't I see?" Pamala asked from behind the trio.

Jerome saw the panic in Kamesha and Morgan's eyes and decided to help them. Whoever the nigga was he was stupid to dump Pamala and he didn't deserve her. "Yo Pamala come with me up in Fresh Wear."

Pamala looked between Kamesha and Morgan before nodding her head and leaving with Jerome. Jerome looked over his shoulder and winked at Kamesha and turned around.

"Why didn't y'all tell me Rome was fine as hell?!" Kamesha exclaimed.

Morgan shrugged before pulling Kamesha down the hall. "So you like him?"

"Yes. But that's Pamala so I'll step off."

Morgan looked at Kamesha before rolling her eyes. "Mesha that nigga is feelin' you and trust me Pamala thinks that he's cute but she don't want to go with him. She's still in love with Omari."

"So what are you trying to imply Morgan Jackson?"

"Go aftet the nigga. Shit put basketball and academics aside for a minute and live a lil."

Kamesha laughed. "You the one to talk."

"Hey I'm trying give yo ass good advice do you want it or not?"

Kamesha swung her arm around Morgan. "Yeah gurl. I'm just playing with yo ass. So help me with this?"

"Of course. What are friends for?"

Omari sighed before pulling his cell phone out. Jarell was right. As usual. But Omari should've known this was gon happen. Pamala was intelligent, fine, thoughtful, sweet, and an all-around great person. It was just a matter of time before she would find somebody else. Omari dialed Jarell's number and waited for him to pick up.

"Yo."

"Hey man. You was right."

"Right bout what?"

"Pamala already got another nigga."

Jarell sat up in his bed. "How ya know?"

"Cuz Rell I just saw them together in the mall. Guess who it was."

"Who?"

"Fizz's cuz."

"Hell naw."

Omari sat on the hood of his car. "What should I do?"

"First decide whether you want her or not."

"I do. I never thought I would say this after Ashley but I love her."

"Well now you need to break it off with Felicia and let Pamala know how you feel regardless on how she feel about Rome."

Omari shook his head knowing that Jarell was right. "Aiight nigga. 1."

"1."

Omari hung up his phone and hopped in his car and started for Felicia's house.

"Jerome can I tell ya somethin'?"

Pamala and Jerome were in Fresh Wear and Jerome was trying on some clothes. "Yeah. What's up?"

"I don't want to lead ya on so I'm just gon tell ya the truth. I still love my ex boyfriend."

Jerome walked out the dressing room and the upset look that Pamala predicted that was gon be on his face wasn't there. "I had a feeling you still loved him."

"And you ain't mad?" Jerome shook his head. "Oh I know why you ain't mad. You think Kamesha a dime and ya want to hook up with her."

Jerome opened his mouth to protest but Pamala held her hand up. "Just tell me do you like her?"

"Yeah."

"Well I'll help ya try to get with her. Just do me a favor?"

"What's that?"

"Shante having her party next week and I was wonderin would you take me becuz I know Omari and that ho Felicia gon be there and I don't want to appear like I'm pinin after him. So will ya?"

Romeo nodded. Hey he had a soft spot for this girl like she was his little sister and he had to protect her. "Yeah I'll do it."
