Subject: lane seen picking using forearm motion

well after much info on his picking technique from all the helpful people at this forum, I downloaded the D.C video from abstractlogix.com and noticed two things-

1) he seems to pick mainly from the wrist, and he also appears to be using the 'rotation' style picking approach, where the wrist does not rest on the guitar/bridge.

2) at his top speeds he definately picks using mainly forearm motion, but also keeps his wrist fairly loose so it looks like he is still picking from the wrist at first glance.

any other insights folks?
