Glen,

What you said, made perfect sense :)

I have found that a couple of the wires connected to the horn seems to have become damaged and has split from the horn itself (due to old age and the elements by the look of it).

Can the wire be replaced or resoldered? Or should I just get a new horn?

Also, I have replaced the fuse (without the horn connected)and the rear brake lights are now funtional. The horn does indeed seem to be the issue.

I have one other question that is unrelated to this horn situation that I hope you can help with as well. I hear a roaring/humming type of sound in the front wheels recently. Do you think it's the wheel bearings beginning to fail or is there something else I should be looking for as the cause?
