Subject: The latest on Ehren Watada

Just for information purposes; your mileage may vary.
I finally got to read the stipulations that E. Watada
reached with the court martial. He is being tried under the UCMJ which is different. He does not have the right to free speech nor to publicly slander the commander in chief. The constitution does not apply to him here.

There were those military officers (one of whom was an Air Force general in Germany) who were critical of Clinton and were relieved. There were military personnel who were irritated at going to Bosnia, which was more or less resolved after over ten years in the Balkans. Clinton supporters, in a twist of irony supported the military taking action against them for their words against the CIC.
Even anti war supporters who believed in the Balkan conflict were glad of their removal.

But now that E. Watada is saying what they feel, think or believe, it is a crime, and he is a man of honor?

Just saying.
