custody due to state meddling...it was so bad governor Romney had to step in; once to keep life support on and I think to keep Haliegh's father and stepmother from her.
But I don't know what is going on now...she is out of the coma now and there is a custody battle raging, as well as a massive lawsuit being considered because DFS knew of the abuse and did nothing...except try to kill the evidence of their crime.
The trouble is, state agencies are immune from prosecution.
I don't think they should be. I don't know where the doctrine of state immunity appears, but as a taxpayer I think they need to be accountable.
