Have you been giving in & giving him human food or treats? If so, STOP. Cresties are MASTER manipulators and he's holding out for the good stuff.

I guarantee you he will not starve himself. Put his food down, if he doesn't eat it within 15-20 min. take it up and don't offer it again until dinner time. No in between treats, etc. If he doesn't eat it dinner time, then his loss. I bet you anything he eats every last bite the next a.m.

Missing meals is not something to worry about, especially now that the days are warming up. As long as he is still drinking, he'll be fine. I had a puff who went 3 days without eating but a small handful of food. He finally realized I wasn't going to give him anything else and he eats the minute I put it down now.
