HELEN THEY SHOULD PROBABLY GO TO TH LAKE NOT RIVER, OK?
Alli walked Feather towards the lake with Jess and they let their horses wade into the cool water. Flurry snorted and splashed water everywhere. Jess laughed, "She is the funniest mare. One minute she loves you and will do anything and another minute she's mad at you and won't do anything." Alli nodded and let Feather take a drink. Then Jess said, "Oh geez! I have a lesson on Mom's horse, Spain, in 20 minutes. We better hurry back." The two girls trotted their mares, who were now refreshed by their swim, back to the barn. After cooling them out, and giving them their treats. The horses were turned out in the paddock. Helen walked over and said, "Hey, do you want to have a lesson too, Alli? Susan said you could ride Delilah or Cobalt?" Alli gasped, "She said that I could ride Cobalt?!!" Helen smiled, "Yep, she did. So do you want to have a lesson?" Alli grinned happily, "You bet!" Helen nodded to the two energetic girls and said, "Well then go get your horses. Jess, you will be riding Spain. I'm sure he will behave just fine." Alli and Jess grabbed lead ropes and happily raced out to the field. Cobalt was galloping around his field, showing off for the mares in the next field. Alli stepped into the field, and the black trahkner stallion thundered towards her. Alli held up one hand and he stopped short, right in front of her. Alli clipped the lead shank onto Cobalt's halter. She led him to the barn, where Jess was already grooming Spanish Elegance, Helen's lovely gray andulusian gelding. Jess began to explain what her mom's lessons were like. "She will have us warm up thoroughly until we arfe used to the horses and they are supple. Today we will work on dressage. She said that we would practice our first level tests and movements, even though the mare's we own are still on training level." Alli listened thoughtfully. It sounded like Helen was a great instructor. They finished tacking up and led their horses out to the dressage arena, where Helen was waiting.
HELEN YOU WRITE ABOUT LESSON, THEN JESS CAN SLEEPOVER AT ALLI'S AND THEY CAN RIDE FOR MARISSA THE "NEXT DAY".
