Alli and Jess mounted there horses and began to warm them up.After they had warmed up thourghly Helen called them over to her.They troted over to her and halted."We're gona do the 1st training level dressage test today OK"Said Helen."I'm game"said Jess"Me to" said Alli."you go first"Helen told Jess.
Jess troted up center line and halted at X.She gave a smart salute to an imaginary judge and walked on.Make a make left lead canter transition between E and K.Jess listened carfully to her mother's instructions.She bent Spain(her Helen's gray andalusian gelding) a Little more to the left,sat her trot and squeezed her outside leg hard.Spain picked up a steady working canter.Jess and Spain sped through the rest of the test." that was really good Jess"Helen said when Jess finished the test."OK you go now Alli" said Helen.
Alli troted up center line and Halted at X.She saluted and asked Cobalt(Susan's black trahkner stallion) to walk on to walk foward."Halt between B and F and pickup trot from the halt and then canter"Helen told Alli.Alli halted and then pushed Cobalt into a trot.Then she prepared to canter.She kicked hard with her out side leg and Cobalt picked up a beautiful canter.She finished the test and halted next to Helen and Jess."Now both of you did really well" said Helen smiling."but Jess you need to work on you trot canter transition and Alli you need too work on your canter trot transition OK"."OK" Alli and jess said together."Now you take your horses and cool them off"Helen told them.
Both the girls slid off their mounts and led them into the barn.They chated as they untacked their horses and put coolers on them."Hey Jess why don't we graze them while we brush them off"Suggetsted Alli."Yeah OK" Siad Jess.They led Spain and Cobalt to a grassy patch next to the barn."Why don't you come sleepover at my house tonight"Siad Alli."I'd love to" siad Jess smiling from ear to ear."Oh goody" said Alli.They finished grazing their horses and turned them out in their paddock and walked back to the barn,washed their tack and put it away."come on Girls it's time to go"called Helen.Alli and Jess ran out to Susan's truck.They piled into the back and drove to Alli's house
