Jon grimaced as he settled into the sloping saddleseat, feeling like an idoit. "You like this thing?" he grumbled, picking up the reins. "As a matter of fact I do," Cassidy replied playfully. She sat deep in the western saddle, feeling odd. It made her legs too far forwards and the horn was annoying. "Let's do this," Cassidy gathered the reins. With a short buck Montana picked up a bumpy trot. Cassidy shortened the reins and sat deep, forcing the colt into a more collected gait. Pride danced and tossed his head alongside, his steps gliding and smooth. Jon smiled despite himself. "He is so smooth!" he exclaimed. "I wish I could say the same," Cassidy joked back as Montana jogged roughly across the trail.
CONTINUE! THEY CAN RIDE TO A CLEARING AND GIVE EACH OTHER A LESSON, THEN SWITCH HORSES AND RIDE BACK. :-)
