I think this is a hard question. I think that raisinmom is right. No way would I want my dh working on the 98th floor of a rebuilt WTC. If they build anything, they need to build something completely new. Leaving it as a park would be a good memorial and show respect, but its prime real estate and the point about bringing business back to the area is valid too. Perhaps they should build an FBI/CIA anti-terrorism center on the site to demonstrate their commitment to never letting it happen again. I don't know. No matter what they do, someone will think its the wrong thing.
