It's strange, because I just had the same thought last night for the first time (prior to that I thought a memorial made sense). I saw about ten minutes of some cheesy Andrew McCarthy movie, and they flashed to the NYC skyline, with the towers looming above all else. And I thought, they need to rebuild those towers so that everytime we see footage that predates the September massacre we aren't constantly reminded of how terror brought us to our knees.

I'd rather remember the heroism and the lost souls than those towers collapsing. So, I say rebuild, and on the top floor instead of having a restaurant, have a museum paying tribute to the families and to the NYPD and NYFD.
