I most certainly agree with your second sentence. That trick is all played out. But as for doubting anyone would ever succeed again...that's what we all said after the 1993 WTC bombing. I wish we had been right. Unfortunately, just as no one foresaw flying a plane into the WTC (including our crackerjack intelligence agencies, who had huge clues), no one will foresee the next successful attack. I hope I'm just being pessimistic, but sometimes it feels like the city has a big target painted on it.
