They say that they need something to 'relax' after work. And they say since I don't work or go to school all day, I don't understand their 'need' for tv. I asked them why they didn't read a book, instead, and they said: 'That takes too much thinking/ concentration'. My bro has that lazy attitude, too, and flops down in front of the tube after school. I don't try to accuse them, I tell them why it's not healthy and why it's a waste of time, but they don't care. There is no use rationalising with people like that. They respond by telling me the computer is just as bad, and I say to them: 'Then why don't you take me somewhere where I can meet some friends? Why don't we all do something?'

I'm sorry about what happened to your dad. I can't imagine how terrible it would be to lose someone that you dearly love. :(

I probably should be more appreciative of my family members. My mom drives me everywhere since I can't drive yet. She complains about me a lot, though, but she still does stuff for me and sometimes I just don't understand that. However, she doesn't like to talk to me for very long. If she loves me - which I'm sure she does - she sure has a funny way of expressing it! o_0 It drives me crazy!

P.S. - Don't worry. I'm a 'Quirky Weirdo' & my friends have all been 'quirky', too!
