you always get me with those ghandi and king quotes. no matter what else you say, you always get me there.

what happens if you try to speak to your parents about your concerns? or to your brother? can you do it without sounding like you are accusing them, but rather letting how worried you are about their welfare? how do they respond?
have you heard this song "in the living years"?

"i wasn't there that morning when my father passed away,
i didn't get to tell him all the things i had to say...
say it loud -- say it clear
you can listen as well as you hear
it's too late, when we die
to admit we don't see eye to eye"

i wasn't there when my father passed away... but i never had any regrets about what i didn't say. i was lucky that it was a safe environment to tell my dad (who was 6'3" and weighed 280 lbs and a black belt) whatever i wanted to. (i am 5'2" but i would lay it on the line because he would at least listen & try to be reasonable.)

as far as my family goes... i tell them, sometimes, how i feel about it but mostly they just resent my influence. (after all i'm such a quirky weirdo...i don't like t.v. how weird is that? or video games either! say it ain't so!)
