Subject: Fantastic Four was fun. Much better than I expected it to be. Lots of things to enjoy (nice eye candy :-D) and great effects that had me wondering, "How'd they do that?"
In reply to: KatRose 's message, "I saw Star Wars (liked it), Batman Begins (liked it), Madagascar (cute, but wouldn't see it again without kids), Mr. & Mrs Smith (better than expected, but not as good as I hoped), War of the Worlds (dreck of the worlds is more like it), and I'm going to see Fantastic Four tomorrow. I'll let you know what I think over the weekend." on 19:47:33 07/07/05 Thu

[> [> [> With the dark action flicks this summer, I intentionally didn't expect the same from FF. I agree that it was good eye candy and there were some really funny lines. It's funny--because I didn't notice a lot of little kids in it and this one would have been better for the young crowd than the 3 year olds I saw at Batman. Little kids at movies is one of my big soapboxes... -- C, 12:26:27 07/12/05 Tue [1]

[> [> [> [> It's one of the reasons I love Mann Theaters here in L.A. They have a rule that says, "No child 5 or under in any movie rated PG-13 or higher." So I don't have to worry about little ones talking or crying during the movies I want to see. -- KatRose, 15:36:49 07/12/05 Tue [1]
