Subject: What I've been up to...

Yo hommies...nice to see you all again. It has been a long long long time since I've done anything with the boards minus posting once or twice at the harmy Board and an occational read when it got closer to the final. So, just thought I'd catch you all up.

I'm 19 now...20 at the end of the summer; in college and a history education major. First year is over and done with and woot woot--- not that I'm excited or anything. I think it went between Okay and Well.

I'm much less inocent then I used to be and even make an occational dirty joke or two. They make me laugh. I'm also much wittier then I used to be...at least I think I am.

I work now...at the cafe in Barnes and Noble. It's exciting except I don't drink coffee...I just make it cuz I love the smell. I'm watering plants this summer to make money for.....

England!!!!!! That's my goal for next year. I'm hoping to go to England for a semester abroad-- Spring semester. Hopefully two friends will be going too.

I have been watching Alias, West Wing (tonights rerun is where Donna finds LemonLyman.com-- a site devoted to Josh; and it sounds freakishly like the Harmy Board; it's great!---though you probably won't understand it unless you watch West wing...and if you are not, why the heck not?!!), Gilmore Girls, ER, and American Dreams. I may also pick up Lost over the summer because it looks so good and my dad thinks it's amazing which says something. Desprate House Wives and Grey's Anatomy are potential new shows too but I don't want to have too many for my sister to tape next year.

Well, that's about it. I played tennis too. Yep--- School, Tennis, TV, Work, Friends. I hope everything is going well with everyone else. Let me know what I have missed!

[> Hi Cinders, welcome. I too love the smell of coffee better than drinking it. B&N has lots of tea flavors. The bookstore of my school has a B&N downstairs and I used to go there to study. I would drink tea all day with a few pastries. I loved their cheese cake. I too love England. I lived there one summer when I was in forth grade and have gone back a few times since then. In forth grade I lived in Cambridge, my two recent trips I went to Oxford. Where are you planning to go? I did cut a few of American Dreams episode last year. But I have not seen any this year. I thought it was cancelled? It is a cool show. -- Rosie, 11:04:08 05/06/05 Fri [1]

[> Hi Cinders! Good to see you! I was hoping you and Suze would show up! A semester in England would be cool! I know someone who did so with Oxford. She loved it. -- Canrane, 13:29:10 05/06/05 Fri [1]

[> Hi, Cinders, nice to meet you. You certainly sound like a typical college kid.... ah, those were carefree times..LOL!! I hope you make it to England next year; if you've got the opportunity, go for it! And I just love the B&N in my hometown, too; most everyone who works there practically knows me by name now 'cause I'm there so often (but I don't drink coffee either - blech!!). -- MariMata, waving hello to Cinders!, 14:18:25 05/06/05 Fri [1]

[> I'm hoping to go to the University of Exeter. It's just a bit smaller then my home town and the university seems like a good on. They also have some interesting history courses I'm looking into. I'm so excited for it...today I opened an "England fun." So, I have $225 so far...who wants to add?;) -- Cinders...I'll try to get Suze to stop by but she still has classes, 02:38:09 05/07/05 Sat [1]

[> [> [> Ooh ooh let me look. Ok i have 3 pennies, some chapstick, and my Univeristy Swipe Card...unfortunately it only has 80 cents on it...i know this because I couldn't even get Pop Tarts out of the vending machine yesterday. So your total is up to 225.83 and some melon-flavored chapstick. -- Suze (and some lint of course), 10:08:49 05/09/05 Mon [1]

[> [> [> [> Let's see...haven't cleaned out the purse since trip to India. I've got a beat up boarding pass, unused Air Canada luggage tag, 75 cents Euro (which is about 96 c US)...oh! And one of those cute little water bottles that they give you on Lufthansa flights. They're adorable...but...I'm willing to part with it for a good cause :) -- Canrane - soo...that puts you at $226.79, 10:34:56 05/09/05 Mon [1]
