Subject: I won't be - but then a good part of that is the fact that my father would be very disappointed in me for supporting anything that has to do with Jane Fonda, lol (being a Vietnam era veteran - though he does say getting to see her slapped in the movie might make it almost worth it, LOL!)

[> [> [> [> I thought her visit to Hanoi was the only incident that bothered everyone. I did not live in US back in the 70s, but when I saw the footage in a documentary, even now, I thought why she was smiling. She was in the middle of war zone, why was she not taking it more seriously. I have lived in the middle of war zone and I have seen up close the devastating effect of war and there is nothing to smile about. Anyhow, I agree that no one could possible understand your dad except the people that were there with him. I am sure that is a very emotional topic for you dad. So I guess you should boycott the movie, LOL. -- Rosie, 12:01:25 05/13/05 Fri [1]

[> [> [> [> [> no - she spat on the troops when they came home... and I'm not sure if theres really anything else - but all the things she did in Hanoi then... I mean saying that the troops were not being mistreated at all? (and I have to say I have the knowledge all second hand myself as I wasn't born then, lol) -- Aria, 12:44:08 05/13/05 Fri [1]
