Subject: Since this is an "anything goes" board, I thought I'd do a little shameless plugging

As many of you are aware (and those that aren't, will so be), I'm a photographer in addition to my work in the entertainment industry. Well, this winter I've actually made a number of sales (YIPPEE!) and have done some improvements to my website.

If you'd like to check out the new pictures and layout (not hugely different for those of you that have visited before), feel free to pop by at:

[> Oh wow. I finally popped by your site Kat...amazing! I especially like the one with the B&W one with a tree sticking out of the lake. Do you use a normal SLR? Or one of those digital SLR cameras? -- Canrane - Just curious., 18:25:53 01/08/05 Sat [1]

[> [> Most of my landscapes are taken with my Nikon film SLR (early stuff was on an N2000, anything over the last two years is on the N80). I do, however, find myself taking a lot more photos (people and landscape) with my digital D100 these days. All of my prints are done digitally (i.e. I scan the slides, upload them to a pro printing house and they print them out digitally). I still have my film camera and use it when I can, but it's the digital that goes with me almost everywhere (which is probably why it's a little dirty on the inside from all the rain and schmutz in the air :-D ). -- KatRose, 18:35:46 01/09/05 Sun [1]

[> [> [> Kat, I'm trying to decide what digital camera would be best for me? What should I look for? Are some brands better than others? I want one with a zoom and to be able to have the pictures printed out for my scrapbooks, but beyond that, I'm clueless. My film camera is a point and shoot with a 38-120mm zoom. -- Lisa, 13:28:38 01/10/05 Mon [1]

[> [> [> [> Drop me an e-mail and we can discuss off board. There are many different ones to choose from depending on how big you want to be able to print the pix and how much money you want to spend. -- KatRose, 19:15:15 01/10/05 Mon [1]
