Subject: He smiled lightly, letting her have a few moments to collect herself before and giving himself a moment to take a long drink of scotch before he finally spoke. "You were begining to look a little overwhelmed." He smiled though, as he said it, his head tipped to the side as he watched her quietly. There was no denying she was a pretty girl, as he had thought before and she was doign well at working her way in with a lot of the people here. She might just make it in this business after all.

  • (She was honest for once, nodding a little.) I have to admit that I am not used to this kind of environment.. or these people.. (She was looking at him when she said it, and then she looked down and smiled to herself before returning her gaze to him.) It's strange for me to find something so unlike me so much fun. (She said quietly, as a couple of people walked into the party past them.) I am used to loud music and louder people.. not this soft of thing.. with finger foods, and expensive water.. and cutthroat women. (She laughed a little.) I think that girl was a little pissed that I was standing with you. (NT) -- Karlie, Wed, Oct 26 2005, 8:46pm PDT
