Subject: Rude and other boards

I've been thinking about this..... Why is it rude to post about other boards? This one is to talk about Quantum Leap and Scott and Dean. Not really appropriate to talk about other shows here. Decision of the man that runs the board. His right. So.... that being the case, if a person is pointing out the correct place to talk about other shows, why is that rude? I for one read a lot of diffrent boards. I have no problem visiting more than one board and find it helpful to know that there are other places out there. It's not stealing. It's just giving information that there are other places to go to talk about things that arn't appropriate here. What's the big deal? A person is trying to help, and gets flamed for it? I don't get it.
