Well, first of all, he took them. Secondly, he's very charismatic and thirdly he wanted to get ahead. Taking those three things into consideration they've planted a seed. ESPECIALLY among guilty whites out there who are JUST LOOKING for a reason not to vote for him. Personally, I have my own reasons. If you'll recall, I liked him at first and promoted him to my black co-workers before he blew up.* Granted, bigotry is involved on my part in not supporting him; but only to a certain extent.
