I guess I might as well jump in here now. I cannot speak for David but I think the reason he posted on the Yellow Board and suggested that his post be cross-posted was because he was offended that Tashi would post as she did at all.
Tashi, as far as I know you and I have no problems, so I will not say that you posted on the Yellow Board to cause trouble for me. But if you just wanted information you could have simply called me. That thread was started when a man named Douglas made a simple request for breeder information. His response was from “John” who used the opportunity to slander me and he said his dog came from me-called me out by name. If you wanted to know what was going on all you had to do was give me a call. I didn’t bother to respond to him because we had already exchanged a number of emails and I figured the issue was over. I also know (and knew) that I wasn’t going to be able to change his mind to my viewpoint in a few exchanges. He essentially called me a crook and said he was going to get a lawyer. If he did I guess he found out he didn’t have a case because I haven’t heard from him again.

Then “Tom” jumped on the bandwagon and claimed
“I bought 2 Blackwell Boerboels from Alan Jones in Anderson Indiana. I can't remember who the mom was but the dad was Egoli Vegter. Both of the parents were imported from S.A.. The breeding took place in 1999.”
I pointed out to “Tom” that no one named Alan Jones had ever bought any dogs from me. He had never registered any dogs with the USBA. I also pointed out that the supposed sire of these supposed pups was whelped on June 28, 1999. Probably NOT the sire of any pups whelped that year. Well, Is Tom lying? Does Tom even exist? Or is “Alan Jones” breeding dogs with false papers claiming them to be from me? Or is simply an Urban Legend. I certainly don’t know, but I DO know that even though his information was not accurate (he evidently didn’t get any papers on his dogs (if he did buy the two dogs) “Tom” felt comfortable going on the board and warning the world about getting dogs from so-called “Blackwell Boerboel” bloodlines. Because of the atmosphere created by Tashi's postings.

Then Ed decides to jump in there and express his devastation caused by the problems with Akiva-and named her parents as if that was the cause of her behavior. I immediately emailed Ed and expressed my shock at learning of this situation on a public board. The last I had heard from them was glowing reports about their pup. I thought it might have been more polite to called the breeder FIRST. He evidently didn’t agree. I also pointed out some possibilities about the cause of Akiva’s problem and he blew up. Saying “I am absolutely positive that what we did or did not do with Akiva could not have been a base cause for such drastic aggression issues. She could not make good decisions as a stable nerved dog would do. She was unpredictable and unreliable. Yes, I am telling you that you sold me a nerve-bag”.
Well, everyone likes to be right and few of us are willing to accept blame. This is human nature, so I figured that little would be accomplished by challenging Ed’s thoughts and statements so why go into a non-productive dialog over the matter. He is convinced he is right, so why not just let the matter go. But if I am to defend myself from the other false statements why not this one. If John, or Tom, or Ed would care to back-up their claims I am always here.

I feel that this thread was enabled by Tashi’s posts, but if that was simply an unforeseen result of her inquisitiveness and she meant what she also posted
“if he feels slighted, I'm happy to call & discuss/apologize, as it wasn't my intent.”
This might be the time and the place. I’m not interested in a phone call. The damage was done on a public board. Any apology should be the same. I hope this is the case. As I said earlier I am unaware of any problems between Tashi and myself.
I also understand that Tina has been banned from the yahoo board because she asked a question over there. Well, I don’t ban people because I do not like what they have to say, so Tina can post on the Yellow Board as she chooses.
