When i state "making them do 50 diffrent things" s whats degrading the breed, that is what people are trying to do. They want to change what they are for and by doing that are causing issues. Temperament wise and health wise.

They want to buid them up to these big bully looking dogs, making them massive while at the same time wanting to make them run run run wile housing them in little "city" living areas. Where is the "normality" in that? Making them look better and sound better to boost sales of offspring?

I agree that a boerboel could do the distance and should. What I disagree with is that people should expect them to do that and alot more and in quicker times than other breeds that were designed for it. We're not handing grey hounds here. We're talking mastiff dogs.

The fact the dog did the AD and came out ahead is great! Shows the dog can do it. But actively stating he could have done more and i"m gonna make them because they can and have to just doesnt' make sense. Training can help any dog do that. But what boerboel needs to run 20 miles a day in less time than the 12 mile AD test in a city??? And what is the purpose in doing that?
